Happy 2013!
Dork and I managed to stay up to welcome the new year with our friends last night. Then we came home and went to bed--we didn't even finish watching everyone shoot off firecrackers. Such party animals, we are.
Then we woke up at 8:00 this morning after our late night last night. Dork had things to do and places to go. I just got too hungry to stay in bed any longer.
Since today is the first day of January, I began my Project 2013 journaling challenge today! I even pulled out my cute new alphabet stamps to play with. Now my journal is all caught up on what I wore to ring in 2013 and how much I love my new red cowgirl boots. Those are very important things to record. I'm sure my future self will be very happy to know that after going through my journal in five years. You're welcome, future self.
Happy New Year to you too JB!! These photos are sooooooooooo cute! I'm with ya, I fell asleep before and after 12:00. My brothers woke me up at 11:30 and then I went to sleep right after... hahaha. We are both complete party animals :)

ReplyDeleteI think I'd go insane without having a journal to write in! Even if all I do is write down what I'm wearing (because blogging about it isn't enough, I guess) or what I did that day, simply the process of writing makes me feel so much better! Thanks for your sweet comment!
